Built the way a nervous first-time user needs it to be.

Most teachers have never been given any real guidance on using AI in the classroom. This page is the plain-language version of how Quizifyme handles student data, content safety, and security — no legal boilerplate, no marketing spin.

No student accounts, no student data — ever

Quizifyme is a tool for the adult in the room: teachers, homeschool parents, and professors. Students never sign in, never create a profile, and are never asked for any personal information. We have nothing to protect because we never collect it in the first place.

Designed with FERPA and COPPA principles in mind

Because no student ever creates an account or submits personal information, there's no student education record or child-directed data collection for FERPA or COPPA to govern in the first place. We haven't sought formal certification under either law, and we're not claiming one — but the product is deliberately built so student privacy questions mostly don't come up.

Content is screened before questions are ever written

Before any video transcript reaches the question-writing model, a separate, faster safety check reviews it for classroom appropriateness. Clearly inappropriate source material is blocked outright; borderline material is flagged so you can review it yourself before using it.

You review everything before it reaches a student

Quizifyme never emails, publishes, or hands a quiz to anyone automatically. Every generated quiz lands in your own editor first — you can edit, delete, or regenerate any question — and nothing leaves that screen until you personally print it, export it, or share it.

Questions are grounded in the source, not invented

Every question is written from the actual video transcript, not general knowledge. Most questions carry a timestamp and a short quote linking straight back to the moment in the video the question came from, so you can verify it in seconds instead of taking the AI's word for it.

Our AI provider does not train on your content

Quizifyme's question-writing runs on Anthropic's API, whose default policy is not to train its models on customer content submitted through the API. Your video transcripts, quizzes, and account data aren't used to improve anyone else's AI model.

Your data, your call — including deleting it

You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. Deleting your account removes your quizzes, questions, usage history, and everything else tied to your account — it isn't a soft delete you have to email support to finish.

Security posture, in brief

  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) — nothing is sent to Quizifyme in plain text.
  • Security response headers (clickjacking protection, strict transport security, and more) are set on every page.
  • Sensitive endpoints — sign-in, account creation, transcript fetching — are rate-limited to slow down abuse.
  • Passwords are never stored in plain text; they're hashed before they touch the database.
