Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Quizifyme (the "Service"), operated by the Quizifyme team ("we," "us," or "Quizifyme"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Quizifyme lets teachers, professors, and homeschool educators turn a captioned YouTube or Vimeo link (or, on paid plans, a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck — and on Teacher Pro, Teacher Max, or a Team or School seat, an uploaded video or audio file) into a quiz, test, study guide, lecture notes, or flashcard set, grounded in that source's transcript, slide text, or presenter notes. Every quiz is generated into your own account for you to review and edit — nothing is ever sent, published, or delivered to a student automatically. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content for accuracy and appropriateness before using it with students.

2. Accounts & acceptable use

Quizifyme accounts are for educators aged 18 or older; the Service does not offer student accounts and is not designed for direct use by minors. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • generate materials from content you do not have the right to use;
  • create unlawful, harassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate materials, including content unsuitable for a classroom setting;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, safety/moderation filters, rate limits, or other technical protections; or
  • resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to anyone outside your account.

You are responsible for reviewing generated materials for accuracy and classroom suitability before distributing them — see Section 5, AI disclaimer.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Quizifyme offers the following individual plans (prices in USD):

  • Starter — $7.99/month or $59/year.
  • Teacher Pro — $12.99/month or $99/year.
  • Teacher Max — $24.99/month or $199/year.

School, Team, and District plans are quoted individually — see contact sales.

Auto-renewal. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until you cancel. We do not send a separate reminder before each renewal charge unless required by law.

How to cancel. You may cancel at any time from Account → Manage billing, which opens Stripe's secure customer portal. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access to your paid plan's features through the end of the period you already paid for, and are then moved to the free, view-only tier — you keep sign-in, viewing, printing, and PDF or plain-text export of your saved quizzes. New quiz generation requires an active paid plan; Word and Google Docs export requires Teacher Starter or higher; and CSV, Kahoot, Quizlet and Google Forms export requires Teacher Pro or Teacher Max.

Price changes. If we change the price of a plan you are subscribed to, we will provide notice (via the Service, email, or both) before the new price takes effect on your next renewal; continuing your subscription after that notice constitutes acceptance of the new price. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Free trial

We offer a 14-day free trial of Teacher Pro to new subscribers. Starting a trial requires a valid payment method. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid Pro monthly subscription and your payment method is charged the then-current Pro monthly price. You may cancel anytime before the trial ends from Account → Manage billing at no charge. We send a courtesy reminder email about 3 days before your trial ends. The free trial is limited to one per customer — accounts or payment methods that have previously had a Quizifyme subscription or trial are not eligible for another one.

4. Refunds

Monthly plans are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you already paid for — you will not be charged again.

Annual plans may be refunded, pro-rated for unused time, if you request a refund within 3 days of your first purchase of that plan. Requests after the first 3 days, or renewals of an existing annual subscription, are not eligible. To request an annual-plan refund, email support@quizifyme.com.

Refunds may be reduced or declined where substantial use has occurred during the refund window (for example, generating a large share of the plan's monthly quiz allowance before requesting a refund).

5. User content & license

You own the quizzes, tests, study guides, and other materials you create using the Service ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service (for example, to display it back to you, generate exports, and enforce plan limits). We do not sell your content or use it to train third-party AI models.

Source videos and their transcripts remain the property of their respective owners; Quizifyme processes transcript text to generate your requested materials and does not redistribute the underlying video.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Quizzes and other materials are generated by AI models grounded in the source video's transcript, with source quotes and timestamps where available. AI-generated content can still contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and grounding in the transcript is not a guarantee of correctness. You must review all generated materials before using them with students.

7. Intellectual property & DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of video creators and copyright holders. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, contact support@quizifyme.com with a description of the work, the material at issue, and your contact information, and we will respond consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. A registered DMCA agent designation is pending; until then, please direct takedown notices to the email above.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quizifyme and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use provisions in Section 2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; Sections 5–8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
